KERENS–Kerens Patrol Officer Terry Jackson attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Larry Jordan. However, initial efforts were not so simple as Jordan decided he wanted to go home before stopping for Jackson. Jordan led Jackson on a tour around town and through unpaved alleyways. His driving skills were not sharp enough to lose Jackson during the chase and ultimately resulted in Jordan being arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle, Open Container of Alcohol and No Valid Driver’s License. After his arrest, he was transported to Navarro County Justice Center where he awaits arraignment for his criminal charges.
